This is a website created to provide classic and vintage car enthusiasts with genuinely useful information.
I'm Ashley James; I am a Bentley and Rolls-Royce enthusiast but have always had a soft spot for classic sports cars. After owning a 25/30, S1 Continental Fastback, Silver Spirit, Silver Shadow, 2 Mark VI Bentleys and a Bristol 400 in recent years, I now have a Healey 3000 MKIIA ( Bought from John Chatham who sold my wife Caroline one in 1969) and a TR3A which had to be totally rebuilt.
The site's main purpose is to provide owners of '46 - '55 cars with technical information to aid with re-builds and restoration. Information that is not always available elsewhere. I have collected a wealth of incredibly detailed technical information from knowledgeable specialists on how to restore and maintain post-war Bentleys and Rolls-Royces, all stored in the technical section.
I have made many friends over the years, not only in Rolls-Royce and Bentley circles, but owners and enthusiasts of all classic cars. Some of those people have provided articles and photographs telling of their experiences, which can be found under articles. On this page you will also find details of my recent and previous rebuild projects of my two Bentley Mark VI's, Triumph TR3a and Austin Healey 3000.
